Charity Match - Summer League R4.
Andy Southey dominated the competition bagging a succession of skimmers and a couple of quality bream to bring 17lbs10ozs to the scales. Andy alternated between his favoured tip tactics and the pole from peg 18 to keep the fish coming throughout the match. There was a tie for second place with Matt Sampson (peg 19) and Ady Larkins (peg 33) both banking 7lbs 14ozs of silvers. Brian Powel continued his excellent season, 3ozs adrift of a podium place with 7lbs 11ozs Brian had the consolation of topping the league table by a point.
The Association chosen charity this year is Friends of Stratton Hospital and £140 was raised on the day that will be added to the total pot (I will find out what the total pot is) that will be handed over later in the year. A big thanks to those individuals and businesses contributing prizes and donations.
