Defending champion Nathan Underwood completed a double and stays out in front in the world rankings with a fine 24lb haul of bream (including 3 slabs for around 12lbs) roach and rudd taken on his trusty pole from peg 30. Peter 'Tacker' Giles found a slab to boost his weight to 12lbs from peg 34 and easily secured second spot. The 'Comeback King' Brian Powell smoked the opposition in the lower basin with an 8lb net of silvers, enough for third on the day, and second in the world champoinship title race. Adrian 'Sailor' Hill and Paul Braund finished first in their respective sections with 8lb nets of silvers. With the world championship hotting up and the canal in top form, can anyone stop the 'Bream Master' Underwood from completing a hat trick in two weeks time?
