Sunday 8th January
Adrian Hill made it two wins in a row with a 4lb bream taken on the pole in that last hour of the contest from peg 17. The late slab was just enough to pip Paul Willshire by an ounce who had a massed 5lbs of roach on the wag and mag from peg 15. It was a day of lots of small fish for most of the anglers with the bread punch working as well as the usual maggot offerings. Simon Allen managed to hold onto his league lead with the best weight from the second basin taking a large number of small roach for 3lbs 11ozs which was enough for third spot. We believe this is the first time everyone fishing a match in January managed to catch!
