Sunday 29th October - Winter League R2
It was a Lower Basin podium lock out as the gusting south easterly and an20cm drop in water level made for very tricky conditions oin the Second Basin. It was a close contest with Andy Southey off peg 14 banking tip caught skimmers and perch for an ounce shy of 10lbs to win. Tony Hillas continued his strong season with a 9lbs second place from peg 18 with Steve Whitehouse a skimmer behind with 8lbs 10ozs from adjacent peg 19.
The Second Basin section was won by Mark Gratton who found a few quality skinmmers amongst the roach for 6lb 14ozs fom peg 33 and Tony Johns who banked 6lb 3ozs of silvers for the Lower Basin section from peg 13.
The dredging is due to commence on Monday 6th November. Please refer to the websites for updates and any venue changes to future fishing competitions whilst the dredging takes place (we hope!).
