Evening Pairs - Tuesday 6th June

The Tiscott Boys stay at the top of the league lasted just under 57 hours following the first of the trio of evening matches.  It was the first outing for Carp or Bust and Matt Pepperell smashed the Lower Basin section with a 21lbs section win, banking a 13lb carp and two slabs for an additional 8lbs.  Partner Ryan Willshire ensured it was not a 'Bust' evening for the team with 9lbs of skimmers to take third place in his section and secure the win.   Andy Southy won the Second Basin section off peg 28, banking a 9lbs carp on light tackle for a winning net of 13lbs, but it was not so good for partner Ade Hicks who's run of recent good form faltrered, picking up a solitary point from his section and AA Angling finishing 3rd. 

The real consistency came from the Brendon All Stars who finally hit form with Matt Sampson (hot peg 33) and Tony Hillas (peg 19) both finishing second in thier respectrive sections with double figure bags of skimmers and silvers.

Its the tightest league for years with four teams seperated by just 2.5 points and the randomness of Carp or Bust upsetting the form book, its all to play for.  All go again on Tuesday evening for round 5.
