Sunday 24th April
Jack Crystal had to borrow a landing net after fogetting his own and was soon onto the 'lumps' fishing pellet dwen the edge to take a succession of carp to easily win the Lake section (his best 10lb fish just fitting into the net!). The going was harder in the Middle Pound for partner Steve Whitehouse bur he put together 2lb 7ozs of redfins for second place in the Pound and secure the win for the Lynstone Lads. Ady Larkins won the Middle Pound section with a 3lb 14oz mixed bag that included a new canal record chub of 1lb 9ozs (they are still amonst us!). Kevin Hill did not fair so well on the Lake finishing 4th with 9lbs but with other Teams failing to put weights together it was enough to earn the Lager Louts the runner up spot.
