Pairs League R2 - Whalesborough Lake
The anticipated carp bonanza did not materialise with the fish obviously more intersted in spawning. Simon Allen did bag a brace early doors for over 15lbs but with partner Dave only banking 4ozs, Me and My Boy ended as runners up. Paul Braund bagged a late 5lb carp brining his total weight of over 140 fish to just over 9lbs and enough to win the section, with partner Tony Johns banking over 5lbs of silvers in his section for third the Tiscott boys ran out winners by a comfortable 2 points.
