Pairs League Round 2

The Whalesborough Lake section produced some better bags of carp, topped by Simon Allen with close on 30lbs of our hard fighting friends. Me and My Boy won the contest by 2 points as partner Dave Allen managed to put a few bits together from the difficult fishing Stock Pond for a creditable 4th.
The Halwill Hustlers ended in second with Nathan Underwood finding a 5lb carp from the Stock Pond and Ian Gray finishing in 4th place on the Lake. They would have tied for the lead had Paul Braund not netted a 4lb carp five minutes into injury time to win the Pond Section and finish third overall as Tone Johns picked up a crucial 2 points from the Lake.
Lake specialist Kevin Hill got close to 23lbs of carp but partner Ady Larkins was in that tricky mid-section of the Pond and his 8oz return saw the Lager Louts tie for fourth place with the Lynstone Lads and Bude Bay Pirates.
