Phyllis Turner (Rudd/Roach only) Match Result: Sunday 21st August
As ever the skimmer bream were showing all over he place when it was rudd and roach everyone was chasing. Simon Allen made it two wins on the bounce, pole fishing maggot for a 4lb bag of redfins from peg 29. Adrian 'Sailor' Hill was on the more traditional roach bait of hemp seed to amass 3lb 11ozs of roach from peg 32. Dick Turner completed the second basin 'shut out' with 2lb 13ozs for third spot. Paul Braund grabbed top weight and a section win in the Lower Basin with 2lb roach taken on the 8 metre whip.
