Summer League R7 - Charity Match
Matt Sampson stopped Simon Allen making it three wins on the bounce as they both tied on 12lbs 10zs for 1st place. Both had end pegs but used very differnmt tacktics, Matt was on the tip in the Lower Basin bagging skimmers whilst Simon fished the short pole to bag up on blades.
It was certainly a day for end pegs with Mark Gratton taking third off peg 26 and Adrian Hill fourth off peg 13, both with 7lbs + bags of silvers.
Another match where the average catch rate improves dramatically (and last years weights had a 14lb carp in the mix) £111 raised on the day, well done everyone.
