Nathan Underwood fished the inside line and amassed a 23lb bag of mostly silvers from peg 30 to take the Reg Howard Trophy and bring him back into contention for the Summer League title with only one match remaining. His nickname of the 'Bream Master' is slipping though as he brought only the one slab to the scales, but he did catch a sea bass! Ian Gray found a couple of slabs and a succession of skimmers from peg 14 but was pipped by an ounce for second by Brian Powell with 14lbs of silvers from the Second Basin. Current league leader Simon Allen took the section in the Second Basin with a 13lb haul of silvers. It was a close call for the section win in the Lower Basin with Paul Braund 'whipping' out just shy of 7lbs of roach to pip Dick Turner by an ounce who rallied in the last hour to bring a number of skimmers to the scales from peg 13.
