Sunday 11th August, Summer League R8 - BR Autospares Wag n Mag
Adrian Hill made it back to back wins as he found he skimmers in the Second Basin and bagged close to 15lbs to win the annual Wag 'n Mag match. With Simon Allen crashing out on peg 28 (the new peg 19) Adrian took a commanding lead in the Summer League with only two matches to go. Peg 19 is now the hot peg as Matt Sampson also gave the skimmers a pummeling to net 13lbs of silvers for second place. Simon Hockaday bagged 8lbs of silvers off peg 32 to finish third.
There were section wins for Steve Whitehouse (Lower Basin ) and Jean Bowden (Second Basin). Jack Crystal won the juniors with just under 3lbs of silvers, Alfie was straight off the mark in his debut competition finishing second.
