Winter League Round 9, Sunday 8th March:
Punched bread was the way to go as a large number of redfins were caught, for not a lot of weight! Simon Allen managed to keep them feeding all day and won with 5lb 2ozs, Kevin Hill was not far behind wit 4lb 12ozs of silvers taken on the inside line for second. Mark Gratton only had an ounce in hand to finish third with 3lbs 2ozs, a result that brings him to within two points of the League Leader Adrian Hill. There were section wins for Rob Fuller (3lb 1oz) and Paul Braund (2lb 2oz) and the junior winner was Alfie.
