Ady Larkins missed out on the slabs but found the skimmers and pole fished his way to victory with a 14lb bag from fancied peg 18 in the Lower Basin.  The good folk of Bude were spared the sight of Ady jogging in just his boxer shorts as his winning margin easilly beat Colin Abbott by the 4lb required to avoid this chilly forfeit!  Bream Master Nathan Underwood found a trio of slabs on the waggler and pole from unfancied peg 7 to finish second and open up a gap of 6 points at the top of the winter league.  On peg 16 Simon Hockaday also found the slabs on the pole line, but it was the humble maggot that drew them in for a  third placed double figure net.   There were section wins for Tony Johns, Simon Allen, Guy Pessel and Adrian Hill.  Other items of note were Colin Abbott weighing in three mackeral and a number of silly hats, the best one being Mike Bowden's which he obviously stole from a leprechaun.
