Summer League Round 5, Charity Match, Sunday 11th July:
It was wet charity match as the duly forecast rain arrived on time. Adrian 'Sailor' Hill bagged up on silvers from the Lower Basin to win the contest with 12lbs. Matt Sampson was not far behind with another double figure haul of silvers for second. Simon Allen pole fished his way to third place with 8lbs of silvers from the Second Basin.
The match raised £135 for Stratton Hospital and thanks go out to Rob and the Team at Waterfront Shooting and Fishing for some fabulous prizes and our outgoing Treasurer Derek Foster for a generous donation.
You may all be wet but don't worry lads, the heatwave is coming!
