It was a Second Basin shut out and a good day for Team Faint Heart supporters with all the podium places being filled from the shallower section.
The Team Faint Heart veteren anglers gave the feeder master stars a run for thier money with Dick Turner swapping to the pole after slow start on the waggler paid dividends, bagging a succession of silvers for a 13lb 11ozs winning net from peg 33. Mat Sampson on the adjacent peg 34 did manage to net close on 10lbs using the long pole but lacked the bonus skimmers to stay in touch with DT, finishing second. Brian Powel made it a Team Faint Heart 1/3 finishing third with a 9lb 9oz bag of roach taken on waggler and pole tactics from peg 28.
The Lower Basin section was won by Simon Allen with 9lb 6ozs of silvers and Ade Hicks ran out the Second Basin section winner with 8lb 8ozs.
