Tuesday 13th June - Evening Pairs

A win for the Brendon All Stars brought them back into league contention with Matt Sampson bagging the win from hot peg 33, albeit with a less than anticipated 7lbs of skimmers, all falling to the method feeder.  Partner Tony Hillas had steady 4lb of silvers from the Lower Basin which saw then to victory by a 2 point margin.  Me and Boy had a much needed second place to keep them in touch, Simon Allen winning the Lower Basin by and ounce from Mark Gratton with 5lb 13ozs, whilst Dave had a mid-division 4lb 7ozs from trixy peg 32.

One half of Carp or Bust (actually 'Double Carp' this evening with Chris standing in for Ryan Willshire) delivered the goods with Matt Pep finding one of the smaller commons in the Cut at 5lbs 13ozs, sadly Chris drew a blank in the Lower Basin, much to all the other Teams relief.  The Tiscott Boys,  AA Angling and the Pirates keept thier dogged campaigns going and are still giving the more 'favoured' teams a run for thier money.  Hold onto your hats for what could be a close finish as we pass the halfway stage.
