With a number of anglers fishing the Feedermaster qualifiers at Tamar Lake it was a depleted entry for Sundays Summer League contest. Paul Braund called it an end peg 35 day at the draw, promptly drew it, and then squeaked home in first by 3ozs after banking 14lbs 3ozs of silvers with a couple of bonus 3lb slabs. At the other end of the contest off peg 13, Pete Horton pole fished pellet to bring a succession of skimmers to the net for just under 14lbs and second place. Simon Allen fished mainly shallow and amassed an impresive number of small silvers for 3rd place from peg 10 (to note Simon had qualified for the Feedermaster final at Tamar Lake the previous day so BCAA will be represented!).
Brian Powel took the Second Basin section with 5lb 11ozs of silvers from peg 29 and also moved to the top of the league by a point. The Lower Basin section went to Kevin Hill with 8lb 3ozs of silvers from peg 17.
Tony Hillas and Ady Larkins both had skimmer bream taken off the hook by seagulls, so be alert, they are obviously diversifying from harrasing the Emmets for thier chips.
